Jeremiah 30-52 & Lamentations

Teacher: Dee Briggs

Bring your Bibles for the study of the second half of Jeremiah and Lamentations next week. I am currently using the English Standard Version but bring other versions so we can compare a couple of verses. Some of them are very different. Please try to get through the end of Jeremiah, but if you can't try to read the five chapters of Lamentations, especially after Alicia's comments today. Lamentations is sorely overlooked. It's really hard to read; it will probably make you cry, but try to read those five chapters and then read Jeremiah. Note down any questions and comments along the way because there are some beautiful passages. God put a lot of hard stuff in his mouth but then he interspersed with some beautiful things.
