1 Kings

Teacher: Gordy Gates

When you read the book of 1st Kings, look for when God intervenes and when He does not intervene. If we look at this book with Samuel and Chronicles from the archaeological side, I can keep you in class for about four hours! It would be fun for all of us to go there and see it. There's so much to see even in Jerusalem during this time period. It is extremely rich from an archaeological standpoint. I'll throw in a few things I saw in my last trip in 2019 in the West Bank, which has a lot to do with King Ahab.
