Peoples and Places in the Bible (History and Geography)

As you prepare for next Sabbath's presentation/conversation please consider the following items.
- Review and study the various maps that you find in the back of your Bible
- Ask yourself the question why God chose the land of current Israel as the "Promised Land". Why would God not choose Mesopotamia or other lands of the Levant?
- What Bible stories can you think of that are made more clear and understandable because you were familiar with the geography, history and topography of that narrative?
