Mark 11 - 16

Teacher: Won Huh

Mark Chapters 11-16 cover the final week of Jesus starting with the triumphal entry orchestrated by Jesus, raising the hopes of His followers that He would be crowned the King of the Jews. By the end of the week, Jesus was crowned and called the King of the Jews – but not in any way they had hoped. To their disappointment, Jesus was crucified on a cross with a crown of thorns and the title, “King of the Jews.”

As you read these chapters look for what Jesus tried to get across to His disciples, followers, church leaders and the general public. Also look for what He reveals about the character of God and the kingdom of God. Do you opt-in to His kingdom?
