Matthew 26 - 28

Teacher: Ed Reifsnyder

The last three chapters of Matthew cover the final events. I have a friend who in her 60s retired from teaching school and started a doctorate in theology and she is developing an alternative view of what actually happened at the cross. What happened? What did Jesus' crucifixion do? I plan on covering the various theories of atonement that are out there in theology-land. You can do some advanced study on that so we're not starting from scratch as we talk about various ideas of what Jesus' death actually accomplished and how it worked.
