Overview

The Global Resource Collective offers a Roundtable Retreat to provide space for leaders to innovate, collaborate, and create paradigm-shifting local church resources.

And it shall come to pass afterward,
that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh;
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your old men shall dream dreams,
and your young men shall see visions. —Joel 2:28

Information

Location

Our first Roundtable Retreat will be hosted at Boulder Church. The address is: 345 Mapleton Ave, Boulder CO 80304. We have ample free parking and are located within comfortable walking distance of Boulder's downtown district.

Challenge

The Roundtable Retreat concept is built around the the seven branches of faith development. Each team will have time to establish and build the best models for the February 17-18, 2019 summit that will be hosted by Kettering Adventist Church in Ohio. The challenge will be for dreamers, visionaries, and missionaries to turn their strengths into tangible results that shape local churches around the world.

Tracks and Sessions

While we will make sure there is ample free time for you to enjoy the beautiful city of Boulder as well as the surrounding mountains, every moment in our schedule is critical to the start of this journey. Every leader joining this Roundtable Retreat will be invited to join a track and help develop the resources that will shape the February 2019 summit. We will establish teams that will continue collaborating online after the Roundtable is finished. The seven branches in the faith development model are: Live Wonder (ages 0-3); Live Adventure (ages 4-11); Live Purpose (ages 12-17); Live Intention (ages 18-24); Live Creativity (ages 25-34); Live Courage (ages 35-54); and Live Wisdom (ages 55+). We will develop resources together in three areas: Worship, Connect Groups, and Daily Walk. The general sessions where we all come together will provide phenomenal worship experiences, challenging us to vision, dream, and follow our mission.

Experience

We are making space for you to experience a whole range of opportunities. Discover what a community collective is actually like. Try one of the several early-morning faith development Life Groups. Process worship messages built on the Daily Walk with Connect Groups to follow. Improve the administrative skills of your local church. Create management charts and visionary leadership models that reflect your local community. Write and implement curriculum for all ages. Take the Word of God and apply to your life. This Roundtable Retreat will be the start of a powerful network of leaders passionate to see innovation and the transformative power of the Spirit of God change our local churches.

Accommodation

There are a variety of reasonably-priced hotels in Boulder and the surrounding area. We would suggest you start making arrangements now.

Who will be there?

We hope you will be there. We have limited physical space and we want everyone to leave knowing as many people and having experienced as many resources as possible. If you are a visionary or a dreamer or mission focused and you are keen to build a new network with others who want to see local churches shape their communities, register today.

Community

Local Matters

We care about both our local and your local—and that makes us global. Through this Roundtable Retreat we will build a network of relationships and connections that will change the global church through our work at the local level. We need innovative partners who have experience leading the way to help teach us how to be all that God has called us to be. One great example is ADRA. Explore how they are shaping and changing the world.
