Exodus Chapters 19 - 40

Teacher: Mark Johnson

If the Ten Commandments are the Law of Liberty and the Law of Love, why did God present them in such a fearful fashion to the Children of Israel?

Is God primarily interested in law, or in health care?

With all of the ritual and pageantry expressed and commanded in the worship of the Israelites, how did God expect it to lead to a relationship of friendship and love with Him?

Read Micah 6:1-8; Hosea 6:4-6; Amos 5:21-26; Isaiah 1:10-20; and Psalms 51:6, 10, 16 and 17 and be prepared to discuss what it was God was truly looking for when he gave the rules and regulations of Exodus.
